The
cartoons presented here are from among those drawn by the artist, mainly
during the 1960's, 1970's and into the 1980's, and may be viewed as
snapshots of history, and for their seriousness or their humor.
Some mark special occasions. Many were published in the Peoria Journal
Star but some were published in Iowa when the cartoonist freelanced cartoons
in his native state, prior to working for the Illinois newspaper. A
few were done for television.
